I am inspired by the Surrealists view of the world, one of a compilation of disparate thoughts and dreams and seemingly unrelated images. Historical references include 13th century religious works of Madonnas and Angels and Saints, the Dutch Vanitas paintings, 18th century Botanical illustrations and by the dark searching hand of Goya's paintings and etchings.
